Swansea Telly is an online channel to watch videos made by people in Swansea. Share your stories and visions of your city.

Swansea Telly is a video channel for the views of local people. Media groups have come together to create skills-training workshops for the people of Swansea who might otherwise be digitally excluded.
People from the city can participate in free video and photography training workshops, learn how to use a digital camcorder and share their own views online.The Project will focus on tackling digital exclusion faced by older people, recently unemployed and social housing tenants.

Swansea Telly is a new and innovative collaborative Digital Inclusion Project which will involve partners from the Swansea Media Consortium, training minority groups in all aspects of media production, to create content for an online TV station- Swansea Telly.
Swansea Telly is a digital inclusion project funded by The Wales Cooperative Centre’s, Communities 2.0 scheme. The project will involve working with various minority groups in Swansea, training them in film-making and enabling them to create short films to be uploaded onto the Swansea Telly internet channel. 

The Project will focus on tackling digital exclusion faced by older people, recently unemployed and social housing tenants, as well as some work with younger people. This will be achieved through engagement with the following activities;

•    ICT- Computer Skills- from using word-processing to uploading videos
•    Film Productions skills- camera, sound, editing
•    Digital Photography
•    Intergenerational work
•    Providing the groups a platform to “Have a voice”
